Senckenberg Natural History Museum

The Senckenberg Natural History Museum is Germany’s largest museum of natural history.

A great place to go and spend a few hours in (especially during Frankfurt’s cold and rainy winter days), it’s thousands of exhibits will educate and entertain both kids and adults. It has everything from dinosaur skeletons to Egyptian mummies, stuffed animals, fossils and rocks. Very easily accessible by subway (it’s in Frankfurt’s Bockenheim neighbourhood), its €6 adult entrance fee is well worth it!

Tip for English-only speakers: as most exhibit explanations are in German, ask for the audio-guide in English at the front desk.

Opening Hours: Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri: 9h – 17h, Wed: 9h – 20h, Sat – Sun: 9h – 18h
